Wednesday's Words - Pausing for a thank you!

In the USA, this weekend will be filled with travelers, hot dogs, camping trips and summer fun.  Some people only think about this weekend as being three days that jump start the summer activities; however, it has a much deeper meaning.

Chances are wherever you live, you live where someone has paid the ultimate price for your freedom.  Look across a world map - and say a 'thank you' to a veteran where you are.

Hey - you might even invite them to your bar-b-que, too!

So what are your plans for this weekend?  If you aren't 'stateside', do you have a special day like Memorial Day?  I would love to hear about it!

Have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
Kathy

  2. Good reminder. I will be away to our place in the mountains but have not forgotten the meaning of this day. I will be remembering our veterans and lost family members this weekend.
