Hi, my name is Kathy, and... The Fabric of My Life Treasure Hunt

... I am a chocohalic...

I love hot chocolate.  No, I mean I REALLY love it!  I don't buy the prepackaged little packets...  no...  I buy cocoa.  Real cocoa.  The kind you can taste when you smell it.  Yeah!  Then I mix it all up and add boiling water.  Real boiling water - not microwaved hot water...  And then I stir all the glumpy chunks and smoosh them until I have this creamy, thick, yummy almost solid chocolate syrup...

mmmmmmm.....  and then I drink it!  Oh, yeah!  I am a serious chocohalic!

Hey, how about I go make some hot chocolate while you post a bunch of comments and then we'll meet back here for a cup of 'yum'!  Don't forget that today is the last day and all your comments have to be posted before midnight, EST!  So hurry up!  I'll go get the cocoa!

How simple is it to win some treasure in our Treasure Hunt? This simple!

Comment at least once at each of the 6 blogs by November 6th at 12am EST to be eligible to win 1 or more ACEO's. One winner will be chosen from each blog.

Happy Treasure Hunting!

Just in case you did not know, ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals. They are small works of art that are 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches (6.4 cm x 8.9 cm), roughly the size of a standard playing card. Check out my blog post for more information about ACEOs and why I like them so much!

  6. Oh, chocolate - I'll be right there! That is the way we made it when I was a child also. I made it for My grandson that way and now he asks me if I will make him some "real" cocoa.

  8. Oh. Yum.

My method: Melt a little butter in a small saucepan, then stir in cocoa and sugar. Add milk and heat. It's all by-guess-and-by-golly, but it sure is good!
